This mission guides every decision we make, every patient interaction, and every partnership we build. We believe that everyone deserves access to compassionate care and the hope found in Jesus.
WHY HOOSIERS NEED HOPE
The Need Is real. and it’s growing.
Even as Indiana’s economy has grown, working families continue to struggle with the rising cost of basic necessities. In 2024, more than 1.05 million Indiana households, or 38% of all households statewide, lived below the ALICE Threshold.
Of these households, 12% were living below the Federal Poverty Level, while another 26% were ALICE: Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed. ALICE households earn above the poverty level but still cannot consistently afford essentials such as housing, food, transportation, childcare, technology, taxes, and healthcare.
For individuals and families without insurance, even routine medical or dental care can compete with rent, groceries, transportation, and other necessities. Hope helps remove that barrier by providing compassionate, affordable medical, dental, and mental healthcare that allows patients to focus on their health instead of choosing between healthcare and life’s basic needs.

Our StorY
Hope opened its doors in June 2005 as a ministry of Kingsway Christian Church and became an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in October 2006. What began as a volunteer-led medical and dental clinic has grown into a comprehensive charitable healthcare ministry serving individuals and families without insurance throughout Central Indiana.
Today, Hope provides medical, dental, mental health, and spiritual care through a dedicated team of paid staff and volunteer healthcare professionals. For more than 20 years, hundreds of volunteers, churches, businesses, and community partners have helped Hope serve more than 20,000 individuals while contributing more than 65,000 volunteer hours.
There are no income restrictions, geographic boundaries, or waiting periods for care. Patients simply must be without health insurance.
Our Hope
Every person who comes to Hope has a unique story. Some are managing chronic illnesses, others are facing unexpected health challenges, and many have delayed care because they simply could not afford it. Regardless of their circumstances, every patient is welcomed with dignity, compassion, and respect.
Our approach goes beyond treating symptoms. We care for the whole person by addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs while connecting patients with additional community resources that promote long-term health and stability.
Our faith shapes how we serve, how we love our neighbors, and how we care for every individual who walks through our doors. It is our prayer that every person who comes to Hope leaves knowing they were seen, valued, and cared for.
