Part-Time Dentist (2–3 Days per Week)

Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Dentist to join our dedicated team on a part-time basis (2–3 days per week). The ideal candidate is passionate about serving the underserved, values collaborative, patient-centered care, and wants to make a lasting impact in our community.
As part of a Christian faith-centered organization, the Dentist should embrace Hope Healthcare Services’ mission to minister to the physical and spiritual health burdens of those in need—serving with compassion, integrity, and a heart for service. We are currently rebuilding our dental program and looking for someone who would like to be part of building something special for the community.
As a Dentist at Hope, you’ll provide high-quality clinical care in a supportive environment focused on accessibility, dignity, and service. You’ll work alongside a caring team of dental assistants, hygienists, and volunteers to help patients achieve optimal oral health.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive dental care, including exams, cleanings, fillings, extractions, crowns, and restorative procedures.
Diagnose and treat oral diseases, infections, and injuries.
Collaborate with other medical and dental team members to ensure continuity of care.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, prevention, and long-term care plans.
Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records in the electronic health system.
Supervise and mentor dental assistants, hygienists, and student volunteers as needed.
Uphold Hope Healthcare Services’ mission and values in all patient interactions.
Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school.
Active Indiana dental license in good standing.
Current CPR certification.
Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care for uninsured populations.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Experience in a community clinic or nonprofit setting preferred, but not required.
Schedule & Compensation
Schedule: 2–3 days per week (flexible scheduling available).
Compensation: Competitive daily rate, commensurate with experience. (Position may be structured as 1099 or W-2.)
