Public Health Partnership Award
This month, I want to take a moment to share something that truly means a lot to all of us at Hope.
We were recently honored with the Public Health Partnership Award from the Indiana Department of Health. To be recognized for advancing community health—especially alongside our partners—is something we do not take lightly. It is both humbling and deeply encouraging.
I also want to take a moment to specifically recognize the Hendricks County Health Department for this nomination, and for their continued partnership. Their support, collaboration, and shared commitment to improving health in our community have played a meaningful role in helping us expand access to care and bring hope to those who need it most. We are truly grateful to serve alongside them.
But I want to be clear—this recognition does not belong to us alone.
It belongs to every provider who has given their time and talents.
Every volunteer who has stepped in to serve.
Every partner who has stood beside us.
And every supporter who has believed in this mission.
Because the truth is, we are simply doing what we feel called to do.
At Hope, we are passionate about removing barriers to care and making sure our neighbors without insurance have a place to turn. We see the need every day. We hear the stories. And we are reminded daily that access to care is not just about medicine—it’s about dignity, compassion, and walking alongside people in some of their most difficult moments.
This award is a reflection of something bigger than any one organization. It reflects what can happen when a community comes together with a shared purpose—to care for one another.
We are incredibly grateful for the trust our community has placed in us. That trust is something we never take for granted. It is what allows us to continue showing up, continuing to grow, and continuing to serve.
So thank you—for your support, your partnership, and your belief in what we do.
We are honored by this recognition, but even more than that, we are grateful for the opportunity to keep doing this work. And we pray that we continue to serve our community well—bringing hope, help, and healing to those who need it most.
With gratitude,
Cliff Sweazey
