A Letter From the Director |

October is a month that brings attention to two very important issues: National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. While these are very different challenges, both remind us of the importance of compassion, support, and making sure people know that help is available.
At Hope Healthcare Services, we are blessed to have the opportunity to walk alongside individuals and families facing both of these challenges. Read More |

After losing her job and health insurance, one woman discovered a lump and feared what might come next. She turned to Hope, where our team listened, prayed with her, and helped coordinate the testing and care she needed. When she was diagnosed with breast cancer, Hope continued connecting her with resources and support. Her journey is not over, but she knows she doesn't have to face it alone. That's the difference Hope makes. |

Expanding Care for Children and Families |
Historically, children have often had greater access to government-sponsored health coverage than adults. However, rising insurance costs, changes to Medicaid requirements, and other barriers are leaving more families without affordable healthcare options. At Hope, we are seeing a growing need for services for uninsured children, and we are responding. |
We are excited to be expanding our pediatric appointment availability with additional clinic hours to help meet this growing need. It has been a blessing to see more young patients receiving medical, dental, and mental health services at Hope. As we continue our commitment to whole-person care, we are equally focused on whole-family care, ensuring that children and parents alike have a place to turn for compassionate, affordable healthcare. |

How to Schedule an Appointment |
If you or someone you know is without medical insurance and needs access to low-cost medical, dental, or mental health care services, please call Hope Healthcare Services at 317-272-0708 to schedule an appointment. All services are by appointment only (no walk-ins), and days and hours may vary based on provider availability. |

Hope is expanding our volunteer team, and this month we are especially looking for people who can serve in four important areas: Bilingual Translators
Help reduce language barriers by assisting patients and families with communication during visits and helping them better understand how to access Hope’s services and resources. Nurses for Patient Follow-Up Calls Licensed nurses can help us stay connected with patients between visits by assisting with follow-up calls, reinforcing care instructions, checking on progress, and helping identify when additional follow-up may be needed.
Community Outreach Ambassadors Represent Hope at churches, health fairs, community events, wellness events, and partner gatherings. Volunteers help share who Hope is, what services are available, who we serve, and how individuals and families can connect with the clinic. No medical background is required. Food Pantry Outreach & Resource Distribution Volunteers
Serve alongside local food pantry partners while helping place Hope information directly into the hands of people who may need care. Volunteers may assist with food distribution, share Hope materials, restock brochures and referral cards, and help connect neighbors without insurance with affordable healthcare and other support. Whether your gifts are clinical, bilingual, relational, or simply centered around serving others, there is a place for you at Hope. |

Faith Partner Spotlight: Avon United Methodist Church |
This month, we are blessed to recognize Avon United Methodist Church, a longtime Faith Partner of Hope Healthcare Services. Recently, I had the privilege of joining Avon UMC and LivingStone Church for a wonderful Unity Tent Service, bringing congregations together in worship, fellowship, and a shared message of faith. In a world that can often feel divided, it was a beautiful reminder that we have far more that unites us in Christ than divides us.
Avon UMC continues to demonstrate that spirit of unity and service through their volunteers, prayers, generosity, and faithful support of Hope. We are grateful for their commitment to bringing our community together and being the hands and feet of Jesus.

This month, we are excited to recognize the Danville Hope Squad, an incredible program dedicated to mental health awareness and suicide prevention. Through a peer-to-peer approach, Hope Squad empowers students to recognize when others may be struggling, offer encouragement, and connect them with the help and support they need.
Earlier this month, Hope Healthcare Services was blessed to participate in the Hope Squad Color Walk for the second consecutive year! What a beautiful day for a beautiful cause, bringing our community together to spread awareness and remind everyone that you matter, every person matters, and you are not alone.
We are grateful for the incredible work of Hope Squad, The GUNSHOW Charity, and everyone helping make a difference in the lives of our young people and our community.

Do You Have an Event We Should Know About? |
If you are hosting an event that would benefit the community—or if you’re a local organization with something others should know about—we’d love for you to submit it for consideration. To view the calendar or submit an event: Community Calendar | Hope Healthcare Services
Together, we can continue building a stronger, more connected community—bringing hope, help, and healing beyond the walls of the clinic. |

| Heavenly Father,
We pray for those in our community who are facing illness, uncertainty, fear, or difficult circumstances. For those struggling with a diagnosis, living in unsafe situations, or delaying care because they don't know where to turn, remind them that they are not alone. |
| |
Lord, help those who need Hope find us, especially those who don't yet know we exist. Open doors, remove barriers, and guide them toward the care, safety, and support they need. Give us the wisdom, compassion, people, and resources to meet them where they are and help them take the next step toward healing.
May Hope always be a place where people feel welcomed, valued, and loved. Continue to bless our staff, volunteers, providers, and community partners so that together, we can be Your hands and feet to those who need us most. In Jesus' name, Amen. |
