A Letter From the Director |
|
|
|
August is National Wellness Month, a reminder that wellness is about more than treating an illness or addressing an immediate concern. It is about caring for the whole person and making sure people have the opportunity to pursue better health, stability, and quality of life.
That belief is at the heart of why Hope exists. We believe everyone deserves access to compassionate, complete healthcare, regardless of their background, financial situation, employment, or season of life.

| For years, my wife and I put off going to the doctor because neither of our jobs offered health insurance, and we simply couldn't afford the care we needed. We didn't even know Hope existed.
When we finally found Hope more than five years ago, everything changed. We found affordable healthcare, but we also found people who genuinely care about us. Hope has become more than a place for doctor visits. It's a place where we feel known, supported, and encouraged in our overall health and well-being. We're so grateful to be part of the Hope family. |

It also includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. Our happiness, eating habits, relationships, work satisfaction, sense of purpose, and connection with others can all affect how we feel and function.

Volunteer Spotlight: Help Us Share Hope Hope is expanding our volunteer team, and we have two new opportunities for people who want to make a difference in our community. Community Outreach Ambassador Love meeting people? Represent Hope at community events, churches, health fairs, and other outreach opportunities by sharing our mission, answering general questions, and helping connect individuals and families with affordable healthcare resources. Food Pantry Outreach & Resource Distribution Volunteer
Help us reach people where they are by serving alongside local food pantries. Volunteers assist with food distributions while sharing Hope information, stocking outreach materials, and helping connect neighbors without insurance to the care and resources available through Hope. Faith Partner Spotlight: Crossroads Church |
|
|
|
Recently, a team from Crossroads spent a day serving at Hope during their Serve Day, helping with deep cleaning, power washing, landscaping, and other projects that made our clinic an even more welcoming place for the patients we serve. Their willingness to give their time and talents reminds us that partnership is about so much more than financial support. It is about showing up, working together, and using what God has given us to care for others.
Crossroads is a wonderful example of what it means to be a true Faith Partner. Their generosity, energy, and heart for service helped strengthen Hope in a very practical way, and we are deeply grateful for their friendship and support.
If you would like to find out more about Crossroads Church, visit them here.
And if your church or small group would like to learn how to become a Faith Community Partner with Hope, we’d love to connect. Please reach out to Cliff Sweazey at ces@myhopehealth.org or 317-272-0708. |

Do You Have an Event We Should Know About? |
If you are hosting an event that would benefit the community—or if you’re a local organization with something others should know about—we’d love for you to submit it for consideration. To view the calendar or submit an event: Community Calendar | Hope Healthcare Services
Together, we can continue building a stronger, more connected community—bringing hope, help, and healing beyond the walls of the clinic. |

| Heavenly Father,
As a new school year begins, we lift up every student, teacher, administrator, and school staff member to You. We pray for Your protection over our schools and ask that You would surround every child with Your peace, wisdom, and love. Bless parents and families as they navigate new routines and responsibilities. |
|
| |
|
Give them strength, patience, and encouragement as they support their children throughout the school year. Help every student grow not only in knowledge, but also in character, kindness, confidence, and faith.
We pray especially for children who may be facing challenges, whether academically, emotionally, socially, or at home. Place caring people in their lives who will encourage them, support them, and remind them they are valued.
May this school year be filled with opportunities to learn, build meaningful friendships, and experience Your presence each day. Keep our communities safe, unite us in caring for one another, and help us reflect Your love wherever we go. In Jesus’ name, Amen. |

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. - Isaiah 41:10 (NIV) |
